Under this title, the newspaper-bulletin (ʿAshura Bahrain), issued by the Islamic Awareness Society, published in the first issue of its fifth year an investigative report in which a group of scholars and researchers took part, namely:
.
Member of Parliament Shaykh Jasim al-Muʾmin.
The researcher Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi
Member of the Parliament Dr. ʿAbd al-ʿAziz Abul.
Member of the Parliament ʿAbd al-Latif al-Shaykh.
Former member of the Council of Representatives Shaykh ʿAli Matar.
Former Member of Parliament ʿAbd al-Nabi Salman. The report was prepared by Ahmad al-Mulla and Hasan al-Drazi.
Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi stressed the necessity of viewing Islamic and national unity from an optimistic perspective, because of its necessity and importance in reaching goals and achieving them, as our divine constitution emphasizes unitary action in more than one place; therefore that unity cannot be abandoned, whatever the differences may be.
Al-Mosawi emphasized the existence of national figures who possess sincerity all along the unitary line with everyone, with complete impartiality; therefore Al-Mosawi sees that it is possible to overcome some of the problems that can bring us onto the right path of working for that unity.
Regarding the problems facing unity, Al-Mosawi said: I believe that the problem facing unity is the exclusions, and the confinement of meetings for Islamic unity to a narrow scope that may not represent all parties, whether at the Islamic or the national level, since every Islamic and national gathering has conditions.
He affirmed that unity is a state of strength in which cooperation prevails in what everyone agrees upon, and that it is not important for agreement to be reached on all the contentious matters that inflame division and split the ranks among the members of the Muslim society, explaining that unity harms its enemies at both the Islamic and the national levels, since each of them has enemies.
