Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and take care to protect your data in the “Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi Library” app. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use and protect it. By using the app you agree to this policy.

You can browse the books and read the content without creating an account or signing in. If you choose to sign in (optionally) with a Google or Apple account, we collect the following data:

• Email address and name — to create and identify your account and to sync your data across your devices.
• Content you create yourself — bookmarks, highlights and notes.
• Reading progress — to save your place and continue where you stopped.
• Notification token — to send the notifications you agree to receive.
• Aggregated technical data — to run the app and improve its performance and stability.

We do not track your location, collect your contacts, or monitor your activity across other apps or websites.

We use the data we collect only for the following purposes:

• Running the app and providing its services to you.
• Saving and syncing your reading progress and the content you create.
• Sending the optional notifications you agree to.
• Improving the app’s performance and fixing errors.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.

We rely on trusted service providers to run the app; their processing of data is subject to their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase — for databases, authentication and infrastructure.
• Google Sign-In — for signing in with a Google account.
• Apple iCloud — for optional backup on Apple devices.

You are in full control of your data. You can delete your account at any time from within the app through the “Settings” screen; this permanently removes your account and all data linked to it.

The app’s content is suitable for all ages (4+). The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under thirteen years of age.
