On the occasion of the birthday of Imam al-Hasan al-ʿAskari (a), 1430 AH, the Hawza of al-ʿIlmayn in Bahrain held a celebration, at which Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi delivered a speech in the presence of the scholars on this occasion. .

He spoke about the saying of Imam al-ʿAskari (a): (My grave in Surra Man Raʾa is a security for the people of the two sides). After he gave a preface on the type of security that the Imam's grave confers, which is (civil and social security), and established that (the people of the two sides) are the two communities, the Shiʿa and the Sunnis; after this preface he explained the interpretation of that security which the Muslims of both communities obtain.

He pointed to two interpretations in this regard:

The first: the ontological interpretation, in that Allah has made the universe interconnected, so that each aspect affects the other in some way. Among those effects is the effect of wilāyah on the universe, as the Prophet (s) said: (The stars are a security for the people of heaven, and my Ahl al-Bayt are a security for the people of the earth).. So they have a cosmic effect on the earth. From this standpoint, the grave of Imam al-Hasan al-ʿAskari has an effect on security among people, just as the grave of Imam al-Kazim (a) is a security for the people of Baghdad from natural disasters.. After that, he pointed to the escalation of sectarian violence in Iraq after the bombing of the two noble domes of the two ʿAskaris, of a kind Iraq had not witnessed in its past, according to the reports received.

The second: the real-world interpretation: the geographical location of the grave, as it lies in the middle of the town of Samarraʾ, inhabited by an overwhelming majority of Sunnis; and on the other hand many Shiʿa continually come to visit the grave of their Imam al-ʿAskari (a), so there is a state of mutual benefit between the two parties. He explained the effect of tourism and tourism investment for countries; it is in people's interest that security be available so that the exchange takes place in its best forms, as Imam al-Baqir (a) says: (The soundness of people's affairs is coexistence).
He then explained the unparalleled stagnation to which the markets of Samarraʾ in their entirety were subjected after the bombing of the noble dome of the sacred shrine.
