Newly released by the Holy Husayni Shrine is the second, expanded and revised edition of the book (White with Light), An Explanation of Ziyarat Amin Allah, by the author Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi, in the month of May 2023 CE.
The book is an explanation and analysis of the well-known Ziyarat Amin Allah, in which the author took up the history of the ziyarah and its development, set out its characteristics, its aims and its architecture, and then proceeded to explain its text.
Among what the Committee for Intellectual Affairs at the Holy Husayni Shrine wrote in presenting the book is the following:
“The standing and greatness of this ziyarah, despite its brevity, are beyond count and reckoning, for it contains lofty contents, majestic meanings and far-reaching depths. One cannot wade into the sea of its meanings unless the reader becomes acquainted with the explanations of these contents and what has been written about them. Before you is one of those studies that shorten this path to opening the doors of knowledge and pointing to some of its horizons, while observing the spiritual and gnostic depth of those words. In this volume the author has taken up the basic teachings for qualifying the visitor for the ziyarah, and has presented a practical, applied model for living in the shelter of the Ahl al-Bayt (a), by extracting study material from the text of the ziyarah as a source that inspires the mind and the soul.”
