Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi delivered an address on the occasion of the birth of Imam Zayn al-ʿAbidin (a), at the celebration held by Hayʾat Muhibbi al-Husayn (a) in the Bani Jamra area. He addressed the educational aspect of the role of Imam Zayn al-ʿAbidin (a), after the Islamic Umma had been afflicted with trials,
and corruption after the event of Karbala. He stressed supplication as a request from Allah the Exalted by which we attain what we seek; persistence in it is only so that the kindnesses of Allah the Exalted may be around us. Moreover, supplication is an act of worship for which a person deserves abundant reward even if no answer comes about. He emphasized Duʿaʾ Makarim al-Akhlaq, which amounts to a person's educating himself by himself.
