About the book:

Dialogue topics differ significantly from the topics that a researcher takes up and writes with his own hand in his articles, research papers and books. This difference is not limited to the form and style in which the topic is treated; rather, the more important difference lies in the choice of the topic itself. For when a researcher chooses a topic, the importance of that topic will follow from the soundness of judgment that the researcher possesses, and that will depend on the priorities he has ordered according to his study and his intellectual effort.

The dialogues conducted by cultural and media institutions choose topics whose importance usually stems from reality's preoccupation with them. They are topics that have come into circulation, or have become a matter with which people are confronted, or a point of need; and in this way they become important—not because the very existence or creation of the topic is important, but because reality is entangled with it and requires thinkers and researchers to treat it and discuss it.

This is a collection of dialogues that some cultural and media institutions—magazines, newspapers and television channels—conducted with me. They were published and broadcast in various forms and at various times, and I saw fit that they be published in a book, hoping from Allah that there will be benefit in them for people.
