From the book's introduction:

When you open your insight to the noble Surat al-Qadr, it will inevitably lead you to witness the reality of the Man of Heaven, the Awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may our souls be his ransom), standing manifest before you; and you see him overseeing the inhabitants of the earth, the great angels of Allah descending upon him with the registers of destinies—with what will happen in the year of good and evil, of life and death, and the provisions that are written in it. It is peace for the one who knows the noble existence of the Awaited Imam al-Mahdi, who is certain of his cosmic centrality, and who holds fast to his handle as a means to Allah in changing those destinies that are written under his care and with his blessing—until the rising of its blessed dawn.

And so that you may be among those encompassed by the kindnesses of Imam al-Mahdi (aj) in general, and on Laylat al-Qadr in particular, come with me so that we may proceed step by step in discourse and exposition.
