Introduction

The light of al-Husayn (a) is as vast as the world and what it needs, and as vast as time in its eternity. When we say the light of Imam al-Husayn (a), this means that we are speaking about all his words, all his deeds, his conduct and his stances, in personal, social and political matters; and excluding any one aspect is considered a diminishing of humanity's right, because it would be deprived of the blessings of the guidance with which the march of Imam al-Husayn (a) overflows. Here we try to read our reality in its contemporary revolutionary and political activism through the blessed Husayni revolution, rectifying reality by the guidance of Imam al-Husayn (a), because he is a lamp of guidance and an ark of salvation, as the Messenger of Allah (s) said; so his blessed revolution, too, is a lamp of guidance and an ark of salvation for humanity.

Building on this shining truth, any claims that work to bury the Husayni light and to limit its place so that it becomes a prisoner of history are defeatist claims that diminish the role of Imam al-Husayn (a) in the movement of reality; and that is an indication of the error and crookedness of the opinion. Some statements may confuse some people without any intent to offend, but rather due to fragmentation in reading the texts, or as a result of psychological shifts caused by the problems and crises of reality. In this book we will try to treat the statements that prevent the light of the Husayni revolution from spreading and having an effect. These treatments are in the form of studies, articles and dialogues that have been published in various media outlets.

We ask Allah the Exalted to make us know the light of Imam al-Husayn (a) in all its fields, so that we may follow his example and walk on his noble path.
