At the gracious invitation of the Camp of the Greatest Messenger (s), affiliated with the al-Ridwan Youth Foundation in Kuwait, and at the invitation of the al-Mustafa (s) Camp, affiliated with the Holy Qurʾan Forum Foundation in Kuwait, Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi on 29/1/2009 CE took part in both camps in the area of al-Mutlaʿ, which is more than 100 kilometers from the capital, Kuwait City; it is a desert area where the people of Kuwait, of their various components, camp.

The participation of Sayed Al-Mosawi lasted four days, which he spent in both camps night and day, including staying overnight. He led the congregational prayer in all the prayers at which he was present, in addition to delivering a number of lectures, courses and various dialogue sessions for the categories of young men, adolescents and children.
The Sayed also met with a group of scholars and teachers among the pioneers of the mission-driven camps of thirty years ago, and among them the pioneers of this stage, who are among those now in charge of them, including the thinker Ustadh Hasan al-ʿAttar, His Eminence Shaykh Hasan al-Balushi, His Eminence Shaykh Hamid, His Eminence Shaykh Yaʿqub, Sayed Hasan al-Mosawi, and others. They discussed the importance of the camps in forming generations and in mission-driven upbringing, and how to restore to the camps at the present time the earlier mission-driven educational spirit, as the camps had a great effect on the mission-driven character in past years, and still do. His Eminence the late religious authority (marjaʿ) Grand Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad al-Shirazi, His Eminence the religious authority (marjaʿ) Grand Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad Taqi al-Modarresi, and a number of scholars in earlier periods gave them great importance.
His Eminence Ayatollah Sayed Husayn al-Modarresi (may Allah preserve him) also had vigorous views on the mission-driven camps, as one of their vanguard founders, and there was discussion with him about the nature of the first stage of these camps thirty years ago, and the ways of benefiting from it at the present time.
The lectures and courses delivered by Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi were under the following headings:
1/ Be among the optimists. 2/ How do I begin the path to success? The four rules for beginning true success. 3/ A course: The Art of Apologizing and Accepting Apologies. 4/ A rule in human excellence: how do you control yourself? 5/ Planning for the future. 6/ How do you invest your simple energies?.
And a number of dialogues and young people's questions connected with marital issues.
Accompanying Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi on this trip were his younger brother Sayed ʿAli (15 years old) and his eldest son Sayed Hashim (9 years old).
