The Representative Office of the Marjaʿ al-Modarresi in Bahrain held, on the eve of Sunday 26/4/2008 CE, a mourning majlis for the soul of the venerable lady, the mother of His Eminence the religious authority (marjaʿ) Sayed Muhammad Taqi al-Modarresi (may his shadow endure), at the al-Qassab Maʾtam in the city of Manama.

Mourners came, from among the religious scholars and the members of Bahraini society, to offer condolences on this painful occasion. They were received by the director and members of the Representative Office of the Marjaʿ al-Modarresi, Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi, Shaykh Habib al-Jamri and Ustadh al-Hajj Kamal, and by some religious scholars, among them His Eminence Sayed Jaʿfar al-ʿAlawi. His Eminence Shaykh ʿAbd Allah al-Salih ascended the pulpit, where in his talk he addressed some of the biography of the noble departed lady, showing aspects of her attention to acts of worship, to the Holy Qurʾan and to raising her children in the best manner, and he mentioned a number of her noble deeds and the honor she attained because of her connection to Allah and to the Ahl al-Bayt (a).
