Ahl al-Kisaʾ (a) Foundation held the ceremonies of the international day commemorating the martyrdom of the infant child (a), on the first Friday of the sacred month of Muharram of the year 1429 AH, as designated by the central committee for commemorating this occasion..
It should be noted that these ceremonies are specifically for women attending with children.. By the grace of Allah the Exalted, on a day whose morning opened with the rain of divine mercy, the camp witnessed a notable attendance from various regions of Bahrain, as the ceremonies were held in the village of Bani Jamra.. This occasion has met with great popularity and interest from people because of the effect they have experienced in the fulfillment of their needs, by the grace of the Gate of Needs slain at Karbala, ʿAbd Allah the infant (a)..
.
It is worth mentioning that among those whose needs were fulfilled was a group of women who had not borne children for eight years and fifteen years, and Allah the Exalted granted them offspring by the grace and blessing of seeking intercession through the Gate of Needs, ʿAbd Allah the infant (a).. Also, one of the women, after seeking intercession, was granted by Allah a son free of every illness, whereas all the children she had borne before were deaf and mute.. That was when the last son was born and she dressed him in the garment that is distributed on the occasion, and he became healthy by the permission of Allah..
This year's ceremonies were held by Ahl al-Kisaʾ (a) Foundation in the camp of Hayʾat Muhibbi al-Husayn (a) in Bani Jamra.
The program was as follows:
1/ At eight-thirty in the morning, the green garments were distributed to the children.
2/ At about nine o'clock, the accomplished radud Sayed Husayn al-Mahfuz began with a poem by His Eminence Shaykh Habib al-Jamri about the infant, which was very moving..
3/ After him His Eminence Sayed Ibrahim al-Shubbari, one of the preachers of Iraq, ascended the pulpit in the women's camp; he narrated the tragedy of the infant child with his father Imam al-Husayn (a) and mentioned the characteristics of ʿAbd Allah the infant, interspersed with times for supplication and asking for needs.
4/ At about ten-thirty the ceremonies ended, and those present had breakfast, sought blessing and made donations for commemorating this occasion..
The Ahl al-Bayt (a) Channel covered the event and conducted an interview with Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi, the president of Ahl al-Kisaʾ (a) Foundation, who spoke about the occasion, people's turning to it, and the motives for attending to it..
