The Ahl al-Kisaʾ Foundation, as is its custom, carried out a number of Husayni activities on the occasion of ʿAshura. This year, 1430 AH, the Foundation commemorated the Friday of the Suckling Infant on the first Friday of the month of Muharram, which is the world day for commemorating the martyrdom of ʿAbd Allah al-Radiʿ (a) in Karbala. .
The occasion of the Suckling Infant is a women's event, in which the tragedy of the Suckling Infant is mentioned, the preacher gives a reminder about some educational topics, and supplication is made during the tragedy. It is worth mentioning that this occasion is a place of miraculous favors and of the acceptance of supplications through seeking intercession (tawassul) with ʿAbd Allah al-Radiʿ (a).. Each year the occasion has witnessed the fulfillment of many needs, especially those related to delayed childbearing for some; there are many cases of those who had no children for up to 15 years, and Allah the Exalted granted them success in having children..
Many women gathered from early in the morning on the first Friday of Muharram 1430 AH, and the women's tent was filled, from the various regions of Bahrain.
Among the Foundation's effective activities in Muharram is also the Nur al-Husayn (a) Exhibition, which is concerned with cultural giving; in it there is a central distribution point for Husayni publications from all societies and individuals.. The books of His Eminence the religious authority (marjaʿ) Grand Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad Taqi al-Modarresi are also distributed at the exhibition, and some lectures by His Eminence Ayatollah Sayed Hadi al-Modarresi were also shown..
The Foundation has issued the book (The Days of ʿAshura) by Sayed Mahmoud Al-Mosawi, which was distributed free of charge in the various regions of Bahrain
