About the book:

Looking at the present moment, we find accumulations of questions that ought to be researched and studied in an epistemic manner that rises to the level of the need. Among those questions, and among the most important of them, are the questions of (globalization), that modern concept which appeared before us in the early nineties of the past century and which the winds of the Western system carried to us from their lairs into our homes. So what is the concept of globalization? How has it been engaged with by Muslim thinkers? What are the new challenges generated by the cross-fertilization of this stage with reality? And what is the program of tasks for which we must prepare and which we must take up as an Islamic Umma with a universal reformist message whose tributaries pour into the good of humanity? These questions are the summary of this great civilizational harbinger that has imposed upon us a new stage, before whose crashing waves we found ourselves all of a sudden. And since the waves of this harbinger are large, we need faster and stronger rowing through epistemic engagement, and a movement that pulls us, at the very least, out of the zone of inaction and stagnation into the zone of action and movement.
